Welcome back DTC fam,
Instagram going long-form now? We pulled together the brands that are leaning into it before BFCM.
We have some exciting things coming soon from the 1800DTC team…
Let’s get to it.
This issue is sponsored by Tagada.

Get Your Full Black Friday Funnel.
“Build a Quantity Break funnel for my product: packs of 1, 3 and 6, a $9 order bump, a 1-click upsell, a downsell if they say no, then a thank-you page.”
Typed into Tagada V3 (launched October 29th), it designed the whole funnel in 3 minutes and 9 seconds.

The AI copilot builds it while you watch (or while you’re making a quick espresso). Then it’s yours to change manually or with the assistant. Skip the dev ticket.
- Start from a sentence or from their extensive template library
- One canvas for lander, checkout, payments, upsells, A/B testing and funnel events
- Meta and Google events visible inside the flow
- No replatforming: works with Shopify and more
- High Risk Payment Processor: Scale and manage your subscription with a reliable getaway
Building a fully mapped checkout, upsell, and payment flow has maybe never been easier. It’s an unfair full-funnel advantage just in time for BFCM. Check it out.
Overpaying for packaging?
Most brands are, and the upcoming peak season hurts the most.
If your boxes are still on pricing you set years ago, or you have one supplier and no backup, a stockout the week after Black Friday costs more than the packaging ever did.
Arka will audit your current packaging for free.
Upload an invoice, a quote, or even a photo of your box. Their team compares it line by line on materials, sizes, and quantities. First look in 48 hours. Brands average 10 to 22% in savings, and True Classic cut 10% off its mailer box program.
Arka makes custom mailer boxes, poly mailers, inserts, tape, and tissue with low mins and quick turnaround. You have probably seen Arka’s founder, Phillip Akhzar, out at industry events. Great guy with 15+ years experience in packaging to put real authority behind this offer:
1800DTC readers get 15% off their first order with code ARKA15.

Brami Teams Up With Gina Bruno on Salt the Water

Brami is the #1 fastest-growing pasta company in the U.S.
And they’ve teamed up with Gina Bruno (Italian-American chef & creative) to showcase a new YouTube food show called Salt the Water.
The first episode is live on Brami’s YouTube channel, with the others dropping throughout December.
The series is inspired by the Italian line “la dolce far niente” (aka the sweetness of doing nothing), and how food can help us connect and slow down. But you get it all from the best people in the industry like L&B Spumoni Garden, Sophie Roe, Alexia Duchêne of Le Chêne, Jeremiah Stone of Bar Contra, and more.
How this helps you get ahead:
I think we’re going to start seeing more movie-style content from brands. Going premium and cinematic is a massive differentiator in the content game.
Ouai Launches 3 Episode Horror Series

With Instagram’s announcement of long-form content called Features, Ouai hair is betting on cinematic content with the launch of a three-part horror/ comedy series called Chopped.
AI is coming for content fast, and with many DTC brands relying heavily on social channels for awareness and customer acquisition, you need a way to stand out from the wave of slop.
Amanda Martinez, VP of brand marketing at Ouai, told Glossy:
How this helps you get ahead:
Taking charge of your brand’s story and content is not something you can just hand off. It needs to be intentional and taken to a new standard heading into Black Friday and 2027.
Cotopaxi Launches “Cotodays”

Cotopaxi is getting ahead of the BFCM craziness by launching “Cotodays” featuring new drops from November 1st until November 11.
They started the launch strong with a collab with FUJIFILM instax, hitting on Cotopaxi’s tagline: “See the world, make it better”.
And they’ve got more limited-edition products like bags, jackets, and pullovers, just in time to capture the high holiday spending.
Excited to see where they take this…

LL’s Kitchen
Alright holiday lovers, time to get your hands on this one:
This special-edition flavor is made with gingerbread spice and molasses and is only available on llskitchen.com
Last Thursday, they beat their online sales in a one-month record and sales in a single-day record! 2026 is already at 3x their total 2025 revenue, with the holiday season still ahead. Online, monthly sales have more than quadrupled over the past year.
We got to ask LL’s Kitchen Founder, Lindsey Mifsud what inspired this flavor. She said:
“Obsession with gingerbread cookies!!… As an avid lover of any and all things gingerbread, I knew when making a holiday flavor I wanted to channel the nostalgic Christmas cookie vibes into our granola. Christmas Crunch is there to cure the gingerbread craving for breakfast and dessert, basically, an excuse to eat nutrient-dense Christmas cookies anytime of day.”

LOLA is the women’s wellness brand known for their clean, organic products. And they just launched their hormone-safe body care products:
Gentle Body Wash and All Over Body Deodorant.
The collection brings LOLA’s commitment to ingredient transparency and hormone-safe products to the everyday body care category. This gives consumers a new option in non-toxic personal care, designed with hormonal and skin health in mind.
They’re on a mission in the women’s health category, asking a new question:
