What’s up DTC fam,
October is rolling, and we’ve got some tasty brands ramping up for BFCM.
Shall we?

Merchandising your storefront shouldn’t require an engineering ticket.
Layers replaces your search box, collection sorting, and recommendation widgets with one platform your merchandising team runs on its own.
It’s built only for Shopify Plus, so it plugs straight into your metafields and B2B catalogs, and changes sync in minutes. Shoppers get AI search that understands what they mean, plus photo-based visual search. Your team gets pins, rules, and scheduled campaigns without writing code.
And it’s up to 40% cheaper than legacy platforms. Check them out.
Take a Closer Look at the Business of CPG
You see the brand online. Grow to Market gets into the business behind it.
Every Tuesday, they talk to food and beverage people about how they get on the shelf, into doors, and sell faster.
You’ll get stories behind brands like Jeni’s, One Trick Pony, MASA, and others you’ll know soon enough. Like one that moved 1,000 units a day at Costco roadshows, and another that went from DTC to 10,000 Starbucks stores.
Readers say Grow to Market “gets founders to say the quiet parts out loud” and is “a great resource for anyone in CPG.”
If consumer brands are your business, Grow to Market belongs in your inbox. Free on Tuesdays.

Big Congrats to Consio
Consio, a partner tool listed on 1800DTC and one of the best AI phone platforms built for Shopify brands, has officially crossed 300 customers.
From AI-powered inbound support to outbound revenue campaigns, brands are using Consio to turn more customer conversations into revenue.
Amazing to see their progress.
Check them out. Maybe you’ll want to be 301 (or probably 302 by the time you see this).

sweetgreen x Molly Baz Collab

sweetgreen and Molly Baz have teamed up on an all-new LTO menu featuring Ayoh, Molly’s mayo gone wild.
Kicking off sweetgreen’s new Chef in Residence program, Molly created three new lunch orders inspired by the deli counter and featuring plenty of Dill Pickle Ayoh:
- Molly’s Big Dill Caesar Wrap
- Molly’s Pickle Caesar Sal
- Molly’s Double Chick Scoop
All this is available September 29 - November 9, in sweetgreen locations across the US.
How this helps you get ahead:
Collabs are key. When you find the right ones, lean into them so it becomes a win-win for you and your creator-partners.
Cowboy Colostrum Drops Pumpkin Spice

Everyone needs a bit more pumpkin in their life right about now.
Cowboy Colostrum is a premium, first-day milking colostrum supplement, aka “nature’s liquid gold” and they just launched their pumpkin spice.
Founders Jessy and Steph tried everything when it came to health and wellness and they finally landed on this. They’ve built a cult-like brand around their mission and product, and it ain’t stopping anytime soon.
And these guys just got into Target. Excited to see them crush this BFCM.
How this helps you get ahead:
Owning your brand’s seasonality, dare I say pumpkin spice, is an important part of driving sales and brand recognition with your customers. Good marketing is good timing.
Unwind Pops into Walmart

From the founders of Nowadays, Unwind is a new beverage brand built around a variety of “sparkling calm” flavors.
They recently launched in 1,000 Walmart Stores and on TikTok Shop.
And they’re big advocates for the daily reset over quick caffeine hits throughout the day.
The vintage “slow down” branding is going to be a solid selling point for this drink.
“Life is louder than ever, and while people are often told they need more energy, focus or stimulation, sometimes they just need a way to turn down the noise…” - Justin Tidwell, Co-founder (BEVNET)
How this helps you get ahead:
Listen closely to your audience, customers, and where culture is heading (in this case, slowing down). When you do, you can build a brand that people jump on because it’s just what they need.

H2Glow
Hydration is moving from sports to beauty with a new brand, H2Glow, betting that hydration is the new step-0 of skincare routines.
Most traditional electrolyte drinks are designed for workouts or heavy sweating, but H2Glow was created specifically with a science-backed formula for everyday skin hydration.
The Beauty Hydration Electrolyte Drink Mix combines balanced electrolytes and collagen-building amino acids to help support hydration from within and reinforce it as the foundation of healthy skin.
In a crowded electrolyte category, H2Glow is standing out by bringing hydration into the daily beauty conversation.

Feel Good Foods
The 100% gluten-free brand is rapidly expanding its product portfolio.
In total, Feel Good Foods sold over 1 million units in just one month, equating to roughly one box sold every two seconds in America.
This means:
- 27 boxes sold every minute
- 1,632 boxes sold every hour
- Nearly 40,000 boxes sold every day
- More than 1 million units sold in four weeks
All with the help of one-of-a-kind innovations like the recent launch of Onion Rings, the first certified gluten-free onion rings on freezer shelves.
Undoubtedly one of the brand’s most-requested products by fans, the Onion Rings have been flying off shelves following a national Whole Foods rollout this month.

Koia x Perdi’s: Limited Collab
As bananas continue to trend, Koia has partnered with Perdi’s to give the nostalgic favorite a protein-packed makeover with a new format:
Instant Banana Bread Protein Dessert.
Made with almond protein and pea protein, each serving delivers 10g of protein and 4g of fiber, with simple ingredients and no artificial sweeteners, stevia, monk fruit, gums, or fillers.
The collab gives consumers a completely new way to experience the banana flavor that’s been showing up across food and beverage, taking it from a familiar protein shake into an indulgent-feeling dessert.

BAM x New Barn Organics Partnership
New Barn Organics and BAM the Brand, Inc. (BAM), have partnered to bring New Barn Organics Buckwheat Milk to Whole Foods Market stores across the Southern Pacific, Northern California, Southwest, Rocky Mountain, and Florida regions beginning this October.
This is the first widely available buckwheat milk in the U.S., and the launch introduces a new option beyond traditional almond, oat, and soy milks.
