K1 Pre-Order is an embedded Shopify application. Merchants configure pre-order behavior through rules. A rule targets products, collections, or selected variants and defines:

• when an item is shown as available for pre-order;
• which payment options are offered;
• which storefront elements are rendered;
• whether Shopify inventory policy is changed;
• whether a pre-order quantity limit applies;
• when the rule becomes active or inactive;
• which order tags and line-item properties are added.
